Robin Hood of the Cave Hill
Naoise O'Haughan was a highwayman.
He lived at the back of the Cave Hill in Belfast.
He stole money from the rich and gave it to the poor.
He was Belfast's Robin Hood!
Titanic
The Titanic was built in Belfast.
Everyone thought she was the best ship in the world. They thought she would never sink.
Then on night she hit an iceberg in the middle of the Atlantic ...
Famine
Joe and his daughter Maggie lived on a farm in Ireland more than 150 years ago.
In the summer Joe worked in his fields. In the winter he worked at his loom making linen. Maggie looked after some hens in the yard.
One morning they went out to the field to check on the potato crop - the potatoes were rotten!
All over the country starving families took to the roads.
One day Joe was forced to sell the family cow and bought two tickets to America ...
Soon their lives would change for ever.
Battle of the Somme
It is 1914 and the Great War has begun.
Roy is a young farmer in County Antrim.
"Everyone must fight if they can, Roy," said Uncle Willy. "Don't worry. It won't be a long war. You'll be home for Christmas!"
Ricky Banks Music Star
Ricky Banks is rich. He wears expensive clothes. He has a beautiful house in the centre of London.
But Ricky is tired of his life as a pop star.
He thinks about a house in the country.
The Man from Peru
It is 1870 - in Parkgate, a little village in the north of Ireland.
The people of the village are very excited. They know the Man from Peru wants cats. He is coming to Parkgate.
All the people come with their cats. Their cats are very fat.
But where is the Man from Peru?
